Sri Chaitanya Institute of Vaishnavic Culture has been providing humanitarian aid to the people in distress during natural calamites. The endeavor of the Institute has been to provide relief to the victims by way of medical attention, food supplies and clothes during the floods and in situation of crises in different districts.
Every year the Institute distributes hundreds of blankets, mosquito nets and clothes among the poor and the destitute. The Institute has also provided financial assistance to conduct marriages for the extremely poor.
In August 2008 districts of Puri, cuttack and Konarak were badly affected by the Floods. Volunteers from our Institute worked tirelessly round the clock to provide relief to the victims.
