FREE DIABITIES DETECTION CAMPS
The growing cases of diabetes especially amongst the younger generation have become a cause of concern. Many people are ignorant of the fact that they are suffering from diabetes. Therefore diabetes detection and awareness camps were held regularly. In the camp free diabetes tests for detection and were conducted and free consultancy by Dr.Lalit Nayak, M.B.B.S, M.D along with other medicine specialists. Prescribed medicine were also given free of cost. Apart from free treatment awareness about diabetes and proper dietary habits were also given to the participants. Patients from different walks of life be it from town, close by villages and slums have benefitted from these camps. At an average around 60-100 patients are tested in very camp.

Several camps Orthopaedic Camps were also organized in which bopne density tests were conducted free of cost. It was found a lot of people dint know that they are suffering from osteoporosis and how suspeptible they are to fractures because of this. In the camp after the tests were conducted free consultancy was also provided by Dr.Gouri Shankar Patnaik, Orthopaedician. The patients were laso administered medicine treatment of osteoporosis.Patients were also educated about osteoprosis, the seriousness of the disease,proper diet and physiotherapy. Nutritional supplements were also give free of cost.

Free multidisciplinary medical camps were also conducted for the needy in which specialists from different departments of medicine like medicine, Eye, ENT, Gynecology, Tb chest, Cancer, Orthopedics, Neuro Surgery etc provided free consultancy and health check-up. In the camp apart from awareness about general health, hygiene, diet, awareness about cancer was also imparted. Redound doctors from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar provided their valuable services.

Outdoor Clinic: Gouranga Health Services Organization registered under the is the outdoor clinic of SIVC .At least Ten to twenty patients belonging to slum area and the needy are provided with medical facilities free of cost. This includes free consultancy, free medicines, sponsored diagnostic tests such as ultrasound, x-ray, eye tests etc. and treatment at other hospitals. SIVC also provides Ambulance and Referral services. Patients from villages often don't know what to do or where to go in Govt Hospital, with the help of other organization the patients are helped in getting admitted and also assisted in getting blood, tests done etc. Out Patients at Outdoor Clinic consulting Dr Lalit Kishore Nayak and Dr Gouri Shankar Patnaik for treatment.

MASS MEDICAL CAMPS
The area of operation chosen by SCIVC is in the Mayurbhanj District, Bangriposi Block The inhabitants there are basically tribal and depend upon agriculture and animal husbandary for their livelihood. It was found that the people there suffer from ailments such as gastreontinal disorders, anemia, scabies etc. the medical team of SCIIVC has been organizing and conducting regular mass multidisciplinary medical camps. In these camps free medical checkups my specialists from various departments and prescribed medicine are given free of cost. Special attention is given to women and children. It was found most the women suffer from anemia and children from malnutrition. Iron tablets and tonic were given. The women were also educated about how to overcome anemia with available vegetables and grains. Tests for detection of Malaria were also conducted and awareness about importance maintaining proper hygiene and keeping the surrounding clean in preventing rampant disease such as malaria and other gastro infections was also imparted.
