Sri Chaitanya Institute of Vaishnavic Culture was founded by His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Tridandi Swami 108 Sri Srimat Bhakti Sravan Tirtha Goswami Maharaj in 1978. His Divine Grace was an enlightened master and a great universal humanitarian-whose love and kindness encompassed all, transcending the barriers of caste, creed and religion. In keeping with the tradition of the great masters, His life was spent in the service of the needy, the poor and the seekers.Sri Chaitanya Institute of Vaishnavic Culture, (SCIVC) was registered as a Capitals for society under the Societies Registration Act on 6th June 1978. It has its office in the premises of A-19 Sahid Nagar,Maharishi College Road Bhubaneswar- 751007, Odisha, India.
SCIVC is a charitable organization with a vision to provide medical,educational and humanitarian services to the poor and deprived segment of the society for their social upliftment . The Institute primarily depends upon charity and donations from its members, people and non-government agencies.
SCIVC was incorporated with the following objectives :
1. Construction of a hi-tech, multidisciplinary hospital: The main objective of the Institute is to construct a hospital comprising specialisations such as medicine, pediatrics, cardiac, etc. The hospital would provide free medical checkups and treatment by way of diagnosis and medicines to the poor.
2. Diagnostic Centre: Since diagnosis is essential and expensive part of treatment, a unit of the hospital would comprise of diagnostic center. Services such as ultrasound, E.C.G., C.T scan, X-ray etc. would be provided.
3. Ayurvedic System of Medicine: The Institute aims to facilitate Ayurvedic system of medicine and treatment.
4. Humanitarian Services: The Institute aims at providing humanitarian services during natural calamities by way food supplies, shelter, clothing and medical treatment.
5.Meditation and Welness Centre for Enhancing Health and for Destressing.
6. Educational Sponsorships: To provide financial assistance to the poor children by way of scholarships and distribution of books, stationery and uniforms.
7. To form social and cultural centers at rural areas to propagate Vocational ,Social and Medical Services to Preserve and Promote Cultural, Traditional and Arts.
